Brexit information

AD Aerospace like many responsible companies in a variety of regulated sectors have been taking steps to mitigate against the worst case scenario of the UK leaving the EU without a deal AKA ‘hard Brexit’
Having conducted a risk assessment and bearing in mind our dual UK and EU (Malta) AS9100 accredited production facilities we concluded that certification was the biggest threat to uninterrupted supply to our customers. To that end we are grateful to the Civil Aviation Authority who are making best efforts for multilateral recognition of certification regarding continued airworthiness.
To galvanise our position AD Aerospace has also taken the steps of direct ‘Third Country’ approval to EASA so that our parts 21 and 145 accreditation privileges continue in the event of a hard Brexit. EASA has now approved both applications.
EASA Reference numbers:
Part 145 Approval Reference EASA.UK.145.00613
Part 21 Approval Reference: EASA.UK.21G.2205
